Three columns are 0% populated. product_description, support_at_home_category, and variant_name have no values for any of the 9,086 rows. Either the view is failing to project them from the underlying table or the upstream pipeline never writes them. Worth tracing before treating these as gaps — on the source products table at least some of these are populated, so this points to the view definition.
CH2 is the broadest catalogue source, not Symbion. ch2_code covers 57.1% of products vs symbion_code at 36.4%. Mirrors what we'd expect from CH2's larger SKU range. ia_stock_code at 19.4% is the matching gap we discussed yesterday — and notably ia_price sits at the identical 19.4%, confirming that when IA matches, pricing flows; the bottleneck is the match itself.
32% of products carry a sell price with no known cost. product_price_ex is 100% populated but product_cost_ex sits at 68.1%. That's 2,900 products for which the portal would show a sell price without a margin-calculable cost basis. Either there's a fallback path setting product_price_ex that bypasses cost (the floor logic?) or these are rows where product_price_ex shouldn't have been set in the first place.
The Directo pair is consistent. directo_price at 9.2% and product_margin_pct_directo at 9.1% — the ~10 row gap is Directo-priced rows where margin can't be computed (probably missing cost). That's a small recoverable pool worth checking.
Categorisation drops sharply at L3. L1 100%, L2 99.1%, L3 87.1% — but support_at_home_category is 0%. SaH classification hasn't been run on the view's product set, or the view isn't pulling it.
The view omits some columns that exist on products. Notably absent: brightsky_sku, directo_sku, out_of_scope, preferred_supplier, ia_base_quantity_price, price_override_ex, supplier_price_discrepancy. If any of these matter for the portal or reporting, the view definition needs widening.
